Facilities Audit conducts the Building Audit Program to acquaint administrators, building proctors, and maintenance personnel with overall condition of their buildings. The process includes facilities audits, utility audits, state controlled maintenance, and University maintenance. Services include setting priorities of building deficiencies, cost estimates for repairs, and development and maintenance of facilities condition inventories database.

Objectives

The objectives of the Building Audit Program are to:

  • Identify deficiencies and provide a written condition status of each building
  • Provide a building evaluation report to assist administrators and managers in their long-range planning and budgeting activities
  • Provide the facilities and maintenance group data that will aid in prioritizing building renewal and deferred maintenance projects
